Hello neighbors!
This is for those living on the Rambling side of Rambling Ridge, specifically those on Rosewood trail. For the last month, DOT and contractors have been assessing and digging along Meadowood trail after an uprooted tree caused underground damage to the road. After several tries to repair the pipe, they have decided the whole pipe needs to be replaced.
Rosewood will be closed Sat/Sunday, August 13th & 14th. Be prepared for extra noise, parked cars on Rambling Drive and delays from that area.
Here is the update from DOT today:
“Currently, our only option is for us to remove the existing pipe and replace it with a new one. Unfortunately, this requires us to close that section of roadway for a time to perform the work. We have tentatively scheduled the closure to begin on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 5:00am and will last until we can restore at least one lane for travel, which should be by late evening on Sunday, August 14, 2022. The residents of Rosewood Trail will need to make plans to leave their vehicles on the Rambling Dr side of the closure and we will provide them a path for foot travel.”
