Annual HOA Meeting & Potluck

Hi Neighbors!

We had a wonderful get together this past Saturday for our annual HOA meeting!
Lots of Rambling Ridge neighbors attended for a potluck lunch before the meeting as well as a few special guests:

Jennifer Burgin and Lisa Hester from the NC Wildlife Commission gave a talk on our local wildlife safety and answered lots of questions! They also brought Hermione the oppossum and Ella the white squirrel for some fun interaction.  Who knew oppossums were so soft and sweet as well as wonderful critters who eat 10,000+ ticks a year?

If you find an injured animal or bird, there are many volunteers who can help!  Lisa and Jennifer gave us this great handout with phone numbers and information.  To print the Wildlife Contact information, click HERE

More information from the meeting coming soon!

Annual Chipper Day!

  • May 4th will be our next Chipper Day, which is FREE for all HOA members!

    What is Chipper Day?

This is an annul community-wide event to clean up excess brush and limbs from your property.  You are responsible for collecting your brush and branches and getting it to the street in front of your property.  We’ve contracted with a local landscape company to be in our neighborhood on May 4th with their chipper and they will travel to each area, chipping as they go.Non-Member HOA residents may participate for $75 OR a better deal, join the HOA and pay the $60 dues and the chipper day is free!

    Chipper Day Guidelines:

  • Brush piles can be no larger than a pickup truck, and will need to be out by the road (not IN the road) by Friday, May 3rd.
  • Brush and branches can be no larger than 6″ in diameter
  • NO construction debris, finished lumber, bamboo, flower bushes or stems with thorns, and NO vines. Please let us know you are participating so the truck does not pass you by!  Email us at ramblingridgehoa@gmail.com

Depending upon the number of residents participating this year and any rain delays, it may take 2 days to complete the job throughout the neighborhood.

Thank you for keeping our neighborhood safe and clean!

A New Sign for Rambling Ridge

Our new subdivision sign is here!
It’s a wonderful way to welcome residents and visitors alike.  A big THANK YOU to the paying members of the HOA, who voted for the aging sign to be replaced.  We hated to see it go but many years of service had taken it’s toll and couldn’t be repaired anymore.
The new sign was paid for entirely by your HOA dues!  We also need to thank the volunteers who have been involved in the demoliton of the old signs,  designing and ordering of the new sign, installing the sign and landscaping the entrance.

Welcome!

Thank you for visiting our Rambling Ridge HOA (Home Owner’s Association) blog!
We are a community with views of the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, nestled in Hendersonville, NC.  Whether you are new to the area, a local or just visiting, welcome!

Our goal is to have a landing page where new neighbors can find out about our neighborhood, gather useful information about dues or community happenings or ask questions.
