This year, Chipper Day will be Saturday, May 9th 2020!

What is Chipper Day?

• This is an annual community-wide event to clean up excess brush and limbs – and we’ve got A LOT of those this year!! We have contracted with a local landscape company to be in the subdivision on Saturday May 9th with their chipper, and they will travel to each area of the neighborhood, chipping as they go!

Here is what you need to know:

• Chipper Day service is FREE to current paid members of the HOA
• Non-members may participate for $75, or join the HOA for $60 (and then get the service FREE!) For information on joining the HOA or paying dues, click here.
• Brush piles can be no larger than a pickup truck, and will need to be out by the road (not IN the road) by Friday May 8th. Brush and branches can be no larger than 6” in diameter.
• Items that cannot (and will not) be chipped: construction debris, vines, finished lumber, bamboo, flower bushes or stems/plants with thorns. This is for the protection of the workers as well as the equipment.
• Please indicate your intention to participate by contacting Matt Heller (ramblingridgehoa@gmail.com) by May 2, 2019.

Depending on the number of residents who participate, it may take 2 days to complete the job throughout the entire neighborhood. If your brush pile does not get picked up Saturday, it will be picked up on Sunday May 10.

Rambling Ridge HOA Board

Hi Neighbors!

We had a wonderful get together this past Saturday for our annual HOA meeting!
Lots of Rambling Ridge neighbors attended for a potluck lunch before the meeting as well as a few special guests:

Jennifer Burgin and Lisa Hester from the NC Wildlife Commission gave a talk on our local wildlife safety and answered lots of questions! They also brought Hermione the oppossum and Ella the white squirrel for some fun interaction.  Who knew oppossums were so soft and sweet as well as wonderful critters who eat 10,000+ ticks a year?
